Braata Productions is the embodiment of its definition, a Jamaican colloquial term meaning ‘extra’ or ‘more’, giving its supporters, and audiences something more at all times.

The brainchild of Jamaican-born actor/singer Andrew Clarke, Braata was founded in 2009 with the mission of bringing Caribbean folk culture, artists, music, stories, movement and theatre into prominent spaces while achieving greater recognition.  Braata aims to foster and develop a greater interest, understanding and appreciation for the Caribbean Diaspora by showcasing its rich culture, lifestyles, traditions and customs through the visual and performing arts.
